1996 was D-Day when two well know advertisers conceived JMD Communications. We were born out of non-conformity in the way business was conducted. While brands were at the center of communications at that time, we believed that consumers should occupy that place.
We wanted to talk to the heart, instead of just the consumer’s mind. The idea is to dig deeper into consumer emotions. To understand their needs, frustrations, desires, and obsessions before lifting a pencil or pen, before hitting the computer keys to start creating. We are looking for the triggers that move human beings to act not only rationally, but in an irrational way.
In 2010 Joey Jiménez; CEO and Carlos Dávila; Art Director decided to join forces with Víctor Lleras as President and Executive Creative Director for a business rebirth. Change is a constant for companies to evolve and at JMD it is embraced.
With the whole team focused on insights to discover consumer truths, unconventional creations to surprise people and incendiary strategies to build solid brands, the new JMD is a new breed of agency.
